"Knowledgeable"... "Trustworthy"... "Approachable"... These are the terms audience research surveys consistently use to describe viewer perceptions of Dave Nemeth. These notable characteristics combined with his wide range of experience are what make Dave one of the most in-demand personalities and spokespersons in the industry today. Beginning his career as a street reporter and anchor, Dave quickly found himself working in top television markets, including: Tampa, Atlanta, Detroit, Hartford and Salt Lake City. While working as a movie critic in Detroit, Dave was recruited by Warner Brothers Television to host the syndicated entertainment magazine strip "EXTRA", anchoring more than 600 daily shows during the show's first two seasons. Along with hosting, Dave conducted scores of in-studio and on-location interviews with the entertainment world's biggest celebrities.
Dave's national success continued as host for Sony's Game Show network fronting the shows "Game TV" and "Game World". Dave has also taken roles in many hit network programs and movies. You've seen Dave in "Desperate Housewives", "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman", "Locusts", "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch" and "News Radio" to name a few. He even showed up in the recent Jim Carey feature film "Yes Man", as an infomercial host. Not surprisingly, Dave's talents have brought him a number of jobs doing just that, including his on-going, ten year run as spokesperson for Tempur-Pedic Mattresses, one of the most successful infomercial campaigns in telemarketing history.
Dave recently completed his fifth year as host of the nationally syndicated morning talk/entertainment show "Daytime" which airs in more than 100 markets across the nation. He is as comfortable talking law or finance as he is wielding a spatula in the kitchen or swinging a hammer in his "Do It With Dave" workshop. Dave's dry sense of humor and sharp wit, combined with an understated charm, allows him to relate with viewers across all demographics. Off-camera Dave is: "pretty much the same guy as I am on T.V."
