So in reading some articles of Allan Sekula and Benjamin Walter, I've been pondering a lot about the portrayal of the documentary subject, "the other"... having been asked to produce a manifesto in relation to my work, i decided to incorporate some of the points i've come to find important in approaching my subjects with the thoughts of Ben and Alan in mind...here are some ideas that come to mind.
