On the 10th anniversary of the passage of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (commonly referred to as the DMCA), Public Knowledge takes a close look at what effect the DMCA has had on innovators, artists and new business models. The eighth and final installment of the series features Fred von Lohmann, Senior Staff Attorney at the Electronic Frontier Foundation and recent IP3 Award winner for his work in the area of intellectual property. Fred has been involved in numerous cases relating to the DMCA and has also worked to help various parties apply for exemptions to the law.
