Government ministers discuss the crisis in Sudan's Darfur region and lead praise for the work of the UN refugee agency (UNHCR) and Aegis Trust in responding to it. They were speaking at the Labour Party's 2008 Annual Conference in Manchester where the two agencies had erected a mock burnt Darfur village as part of an effort to portray the violence that has uprooted more than 2.5 million Darfuris and forced some 250,000 refugees into UNHCR's 12 camps across the border in eastern Chad.

Those interviewed in the film include David Miliband, Jack Straw, Margaret Beckett, Douglas Alexander, Neil Kinnock, Glenys Kinnock, Jim Murphy, Peter Hain, Gillian Merron, Shahid Malik, Mary Creagh, Mike Gapes and Jon Snow.
