Hi Tobin
I was a videographer back in the late eighties!! I produced about 40 wedding videos, anyway 20 years later I'm back in the field and I am preparing to video my daughters wedding.I was looking for abit of noughties inspiration,I must have viewed at least a hundred wedding videos and in my opinion yours is the best I have seen by far.
Great work.
Andy
Thanks Andy! I would have replied to this earlier, but just now found your comment. Usually I get an email.
This project was fun for me. I'm a still photographer at heart, however I really enjoyed this and I'm considering doing more of this type of work. There are some flaws in this video (being the artist, one always finds flaws), but with a little more practice and better equipment as I progress, I should be able to polish these videos up nicely. Thanks again. Quick question though. How will you video your daughters wedding? Won't you want to be more involved in the wedding? You should hire someone! Wink Wink
Hi Robin, I would like to hire somebody but my funds don't stretch too far and looking at who is available locally (Southwest England) I am not that sure I want to spend around a £1000. With that sort of money I can get a HV30 and Sony Vegas.
The plan is to teach my son to use the camera and between us, who knows!!
Back to your vid, I liked the fact that I started to watch the content straight away, I wasn't distracted with effects and techniques etc. (It seems like half of vimeo is DOF addicted and have forgotten the content) Even your titles were dicreet and classy.
I can't understand how you only have 2 likes, must be your lack of DOF!!! Lol
