It's been 7-8 years since we last saw them play here. They formed back in 1991. Before there was Johnny Casino, there was John Spittles, and he played in a band called Asteroid B-612. Taking their name from a Sonic’s Rendezvous Band song, Asteroid B-612’s played high-energy, balls to the wall Detroit rock'n'roll.

Sydney's Rock'N'Roll heavyweights reactivated for the recent MS benefit Monster Sessions in Sydney, now played a one-off headline show at the legendary Tote Hotel in Melbourne Rock Central.
