    I was a shame. It was one of the larger Water Oak trees (about 6 feet diameter at chest level) I've seen. The main trunk section had split in a wind storm and the whole tree was in danger of falling on the guy's house. It would have crushed it.

    i never like it when trees are cut... but like you said if it's a danger it has to be done.
