The Angenieux is a great lens for the GH2 and much cheaper than the Voigtländer 25mm f/.95. However like many C-mounts, it vignettes. There's also some barrel distortion. Its part of the character of the lens and produces some rather funky bokeh which I love, but sometimes its distracting.
By adding negative curvature (-8) using the Lens Distortion effect in Premiere Pro, its possible to remove the distortion. To remove the vignette, I scaled the footage at 112%.
Unfortunately the Lens Distortion effect seems to be Windows only (not sure why). It also is very CPU intensive, so best to disable the effect until you've finished editing.
I've exported the preset for anyone else that has the lens; just download the preset, then right click in the effects panel in Premiere, then 'Import preset'. I've disabled the Lens Distortion effect by default, since its too slow to preview in realtime; enable it right before you render your sequence.
