Today we attended a wonderful event at the Midwest Buddhist Temple on Menomonee Street in the Old Town Triangle in response to the events in Japan.
We all wrote out wishes on small slips of paper and hung them on a tree at the Buddhist Temple over the past few days. Then we on Sunday we took all of the wishes down and put them in a bag and burned them. If you have a sincere heart says Reverend Ron, the wishes release energy to the earth and the purity of the heart determines if the wish comes back to the earth in the right place.
