It was a beautiful fall day out at Merriam Crater... blue skies, cool temps and a nice NW wind. There was just enough lift to get the Wasabi moving on this low angle site.
I could not find the "sight" for my helmet cam, so I shot full wide angle and tried to fly close to the camera.
We don't get NW winds that often... usually a small window of opportunity after a storm front moves through. I love to fly it because it has acres of level and grassy landing zon. It is our only real "crunchy friendly" flying site.e
This flying site on the NW flanks of Merriam is often used for beginner para-gliders.
