A short film made by Shay Mohsin entitled "Under The Rasta Influence"; a Reggae band that is determined to move people in a positive way and bring change. Donovan, who is the frontman of the URI Movement, speaks about what his music means to him and what he wants to accomplish as a musician.
Jamel Shabazz, the legendary New York City photographer is also featured in this film, as he gives some positive words to the band for them to keep doing what they're doing. He photographs the band in the DUMBO-Brooklyn area.
The purpose of this short film is to show people how music is a part of people's everyday lives, and with it's message- it can bring on a positive change. Hopefully with spreading the word about peace we can influence people to make a difference.
