The siren sound which can be heard throughout the video is nothing else but a well distended sample of an interpretation of Samuel Barber's "Agnus Dei", the choral version of his more popular arrangement "Adagio for Strings". Other sounds were added.
The imagery is entirely retrieved from the Internet Archive and contains images of the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s.
