Two men are hiding from the outside world. Something lurks within the trees that waits to kill them. Running low on food and water, a third, heavily wounded man enters the hut which leads to more mystery.

Making of:
Two weeks ago we participated in the Sci-fi London 48hour film challenge which was EPIC! Over the 48hours I had about 3 or 4 hours sleep so by the end of it I was having trouble keeping my eyes open. It was an incredible experience working with extremely talented and enthusiastic people who were all there to make a film we could be proud of. At the start of the 48hours we were given a line, a title and a prop. We then had 48 hours to write, shoot and edit a film. It was complete madness but I loved every moment of it and I can’t wait to participate in the challenge again.

This Film was made as part of the Sci-fi 48hour film challenge. It's an amazing challenge and I'd highly recommend participating if you have the change. You can learn more about it here:

What we had to include in the film:
DIALOGUE: His teeth are chattering, he’s sweating. He has a fever.
PROP: 9 Biscuits on a white plate – One of the characters takes one?

The whole film was shot on the Canon 550D using a 18 - 55mm and 50mm 1.8 lens. Our lighting kit consisted of 2 x 1k Arri Light, 2 x 2k Arri Light, 2 x 650w and 2 x 300w. For all the outdoor shots I used a soldier mount and for all the shots inside the tree house I used the Hague mini motion-cam as the shoulder mount took up too much room in the tight shooting space that we had.
All the sound was done on a 416 Mic using a Edirol Recorder.

I have been working with Lyndon Holland for over four years now having collaborated with him on a variety of projects. He is amazingly talented and is a joy to work with. He can learn more about him on his website here:
