When a recent ad for John McCain’s presidential campaign featured music from “Medal of Honor: European Assault”, the composer Christopher Lennertz (20th Century Fox’s Alvin and the Chipmunks)
who doesn't own the rights to the piece was less than thrilled mainly because he is an avid Obama supporter. In response, he joined forces with Filmmaker Frederic Lumiere to produce an ad of their own – supporting Barack Obama featuring one of his most inspirational pieces of music which he owns.
