The differences between President Reagan’s leadership, and the incendiary vitriol coming today from the Left are quite obvious.
I’d be interested in knowing what your response was when Wisconsin Democrat Gordon Hintz turned to a female colleague -- Conservative Michelle Litjens -- and told her, “You are [effing] dead!” (Oh, and Hintz didn’t say effing -- he said the actual word.)
And what about fellow Democrat Mike Capuano telling supporters (read: union thugs) to “get a little bloody.”
Do you think these Democrats were just following Obama’s latest marching orders?!?
BTW, Obama never did denounce those hateful words…

I found this video to be very informative!
I knew that Ronald Reagan was a proud union member who led his union, but I was very surprised to learn that as president of that union, he called for and led their first strike. That’s interesting!
And hearing President Reagan say he may be the first president ever to also be a lifetime member of an AFL-CIO union was interesting as well.
PS- I think this video is definitely worth your time :)

in regards to Reagan Sr, please get your facts straight : Reagan Sr was NOT president of the AFL-CIO -
    -----------------
Reagan was first elected to the Board of Directors of the Screen Actors Guild in 1941, serving as an alternate. Following World War II, he resumed service and became 3rd Vice president in 1946.[37] The adoption of conflict-of-interest bylaws in 1947 led the SAG president and six board members to resign; Reagan was nominated in a special election for the position of president and subsequently elected.[37] He would subsequently be chosen by the membership to seven additional one-year terms, from 1947 to 1952 and in 1959.[37] Reagan led SAG through eventful years that were marked by labor-management disputes, the Taft-Hartley Act, House Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC) hearings and the Hollywood blacklist era.[37]
    -----------------

Now reagan sr gave great speeches, I'm certainly give him that - he was a professional actor but as for "leasdership" please consider this fact :

    -----------
Amid the Red Scare in the late 1940s, Reagan provided the FBI with names of actors whom he believed to be communist sympathizers within the motion picture industry.[38] Reagan testified before the House Un-American Activities Committee on the subject as well.[39]
    -----------

nice guy taking advantage of hysteria of the era for his own gain.

as for your unrelated comment not about this video, please. you can find both D's and R's both making nasty comments about each other. the news is filled with it almost everyday so your comment means nothing except its an example of some one losing their temper at an idiot.

most of the content of this video can be exposed for the 1/2 truths that it is... and how about reagan jr simply cashing in on his father's legacy. how upright is that ? can't he stand on his own ?

My facts are straight. Maybe your unfamiliarity with them can be explained this way:
***SPOILER ALERT*** Alternate ending to Orwell’s 1984: “Steve Oakley gazed up at the ugly mug. For years, he had fawned over the thin cruel smile and Dumbo ears.
O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Gin-scented tears trickled down his face. But everything was all right now, his struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. Steve Oakley LOVED Obama.”
PS- I guess you can see that I can cut-and-paste too, the difference being that not only did I give proper credit, I tried to come up with something original.
