Beulah Jane Wright lives in River John, Nova Scotia not far from Caribou. She started working at the Maritime Packers Plant in Caribou Harbour as a young woman working up from the factory floor to the accounting office. "We all got our start at Maritime Packers" Beulah notes. It was one of the largest employers in the area and working at the factory was a first job for many young people.
