The Marching Season
Assistant Producer, Promo Editor

The Marching Season is a 50 minute documentary, looking at the historical chasm between Riga, Latvia and London, whose events were twinned in 2007. While London celebrates 35 years of Gay Pride, Riga holds its first officially sanctioned LGBT march, faced with the chilling opposition of religious fundamentalist and neo-nazi groups. The Riga march is a solemn political act, while in London some worry that the political origins of Pride have become lost.

First shown at the London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival in March 2008, and has since gone on to be shown in Film Festivals around the world.

Dirs: Grace Chapman and Emma Jones
