I don't know what happened to the 2 above comments, one was from a user named BBB vimeo.com/rose and the other was a reply of mine to her/him.

I am trying to figure out what happened here vimeo.com/forums/topic:8757 and will update this thread with an answer as soon as someone at Vimeo explains what happened.

Please accept my apologies for the comment-disappearing incident. I assure it was not caused by me and that I am trying to recover them :)

Ok, mistery solved, Dan explained that the user was deleted for abuse and when someone is removed that way all contents and it's childs (threaded replies from others for example) are also deleted because of the way the system is currently designed.

So, a bummer… but good to know regardless.
