A look around my office at the house. I have been collecting 8mm film cameras for years. I really like Bolex equipment, they still produce a Super 16mm that is very popular in film schools. Most of these I have refurbished / rebuilt and they purr like kittens (fully functional). This is what we did in the old days before Vimeo and HD. Yep – people had to visit your house to see one of your movies, plus you had to set up your screen and projector, how wrong is that. I’m more of a “Zero Human Intervention” person – long live Vimeo :-)
Shot with a Sony EX1, Brevis 35 with flip, 28mm / 55mm / 85mm Nikon lens’ and the LCP 36” camera slider. Edited in Avid Media Composer 3.0 with a touch of Magic Bullet Looks. Output H264, 6K max, auto key frame, no frame reorder and same frame rate – shot at 1080p 24fps. Music is US Blues – Greatful Dead from Mars Hotel (1971).
