    I do embrace change, but only when it improves things. I agree that FCP will rock, but it won't fit in the current high end editing models. In a few years, the high end will probably be there, and that is what Apple is betting on.

    Remember when Steve Jobs removed the floppy disk. Shock and horror and a lot of griping. But in the long run...

    This whole thing is really concerning me at the moment as I'll be starting a 1 year MA in Post Production Editing and the NLE of choice is FCP7. By the time I start I'll be using FCP8 and more than likely the entire interface would have changed.
