Pike Place Market, Gas Works Park, and the Everett Water park. I fit it all into one songs worth of music!
OK, I'll admit it, I just wanted to put all this stuff into a video so the family can see some of the stuff we did this summer!
You will see the original Starbucks at the Pike Place Market. As a child, we used to go and visit Gas Works Park. I have to say, it has REALLY gone down hill. I did not include all the garage in junk also among the machines. (How do I express the smell? Lets just say that someone doesn't want to walk to the bathroom!)
The Everett water park it fun. My son decided that he wanted to use his mouth as a catch basin - I tried to explain that you never know what could be in the water. (It fell on deaf ears. Heres to a good immune system!)
The last little beach scene is from Lake Stevens. We swam there on the first official day of fall. Very cold, but not near as cold as Lake Chelan most of the time!
Enjoy,
Jeff
Technical: HV30 in HD. Aperture Priority for most of the recording. Don't know why there is an “interlacing” effect at the water park scene. (Can you say HMC150 @ 720p @ 60p??) Edited with Sony Vegas Pro 8.0c. Blue effect added, just because. Song: “Smells like Thirtysomething Spirit”, Apologetix.
