Time-Lapse Collection - Tutorial Series - Motion
This time-lapse was shot on a 17-35mm lens at f/2.8 at 1/6 of a second. The overcast sky allowed me to slow the shutter down to a reasonable speed to create some motion. The slug on Vancouver Island moved much faster than expected so I had to move the composition higher with each shot. Motion was applied in post process and stopped to allow the slug to exit the picture.
Key features:
-shooting wide enough to allowing for post-process motion
-even shade allowed for slow shutter speed
-cooperative subject
-shoot extra frames before/after subject is in the scene
