In the Key of Claire is a one hour documentary about music and healing. It tells the story of Claire Duchesneau, a social worker in the HIV clinic of the McGill University Chest Hospital who is unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer. Claire discovers that music is a precious ally in her struggle with an illness that has become a 21st century epidemic. Many themes that reverberate through her story will connect to a much wider audience. The film will explore how noise and silence, music and singing influence our physical and emotional health.
