“A Black Man Stole My…Vote” is simultaneously a satire of racial stereotypes in the American media and a tribute to Barack Obama’s historic achievement. While media images of black men committing crimes (and being wrongly accused of them) is common in the American cultural landscape, this year’s election has presented the country with the first instance where a black man has truly captivated tens of millions of American voters from all walks of life, “forcing” them to vote for him not through intimidation or violence, but through eloquence, commitment, vision, and talent.
