Record Store Day is thrilled to give you the first look at the video for The Head and the Heart’s song “Rivers and Roads”. Since self-releasing their debut, self-titled CD in June 2010, The Head and The Heart have built an impressive head of steam up and down the West Coast and in their hometown of Seattle. Long a crowd favorite when the band hits the stage, “Rivers and Roads” has been added to that self-titled debut record as it makes the leap, remastered, and with the song “Sounds Like Hallelujah” re-recorded, from DIY to Sub Pop, just in time for Record Store Day 2011. (And shows up on vinyl for the first time ever!!)

Seattle fans can celebrate with the band as they perform in not one but TWO stores on Record Store Day: Easy Street Records and Sonic Boom Records. (The pretty vinyl version of Sub Pop’s The Head and The Heart, which is deluxe gatefold, with gold foil printing and an MP3 download, is extra special at these two stores, because a handful of tickets to their sold out Seattle shows have been hidden in a few of them!)

Want to hear from the bands on their love of stores, and the stores on the love of the band? Click here to read more (and to see the tour dates that will have the band out on the road for months—betcha they’ll play “Rivers and Roads” for you!)
