Calendar news runs two simultaneous evening programmes from ITV Yorkshire. Duncan Wood and Christine Talbot use this studio on ITV 1 at 6pm every weekday evening. The identical Calendar South studio next door will be closing down as part of the ITV cutbacks. About 40 of the 100 strong team will be given the chop in the new year.
This studio has four cameras which can be controlled remotely from the gallery and a blue screen used by the weather forecasters (soon to become forecaster),
