I would have to agree with Brian. There are some shots that benefit from color, and others from B&W. Either way it's an incredible piece. I think the B&W as a whole is what separated it from your previous work, and put it over the top for me! Was choosing the B&W to be first a hard decision for you to make?

Yes! A THIRD VERSION will be the best combination with B/N and color. Some of the shoots take more force in BN and other in color.

I think I like the colour better because the Black and White is removing information from my view (the beautiful hues), but definitely the other one has a close fitting feeling that the disparate times of day and colours in this version sort of lost.

Both are, of course, completely gorgeous, they only different in gorgeousocity in comparison to each other :)

Awesome work Jon! I also agree that the color has such beautiful hues, I'd say I like it more. The rainbow and sunset are a must in color, also to make your decision more difficult...I LOVE the second shot in color! The hues on that mountain are incredible!

Interesting how the lack of color changes your perception of the image. It's like 2 totally different videos!

I love the whole thing, obviously, but especially the color of the water at 1:20 and 1:45, and my favorite part, how the wind shifts at 2:41...and of course that spectacular sunset!! It's really too bad about the HD, though.

Absolutely each as brilliant and unique as the other. Some of the beauty in the B&W version is that it shows perfectly the starkness and harshness of the land, Mother Nature. But the colour version just as equally shows the land in it's rich, unique starkness and splendour, but of course it adds a touch of softness to it's harshness, in colour.I love the Rainbow in colour only, naturally!! Combined, that would be absolutely something to see!! Look forward to it in a week's time. What a nuisance you can only upload once a week, hey!! Have you guys thought of putting videos like these ones up for some kind of Award??
