    Yea it works fine, and for projects using 30p (not 24p) you apprently can overcrank all the way to 60. I found out by mistake, I forgot to switch to the SxS card.. LOL

    i test my Sony pmw-ex3 and Kensington reader just 15 min ago with Sandisk ultra 2 16Gb - works without problems!

    It says 15 Mb/s on the SDHC card that you have, so is the video on with the adapter of a lesser bandwidth than the 35Mb/s of the regular SxS card? If so how different is the quality?

    The SxS cards have quite a lot of headroom for bandwidth. When using the SDHC ultra IIs you actually have "just enough" bandwidth to overcrank from 30fps to 60fps. But for example, you can not over 24fps to 60fps. That takes a little more bandwidth and it exceeds what the EX3/1 will send using the USB protocol.

    I say "will send" because Sony has bottlenecked the EX cameras when using the USB flavor of the express cards. True SxS cards use the PCI protocol.
