Jenny Lezan Video Audition- my friend Jenny asked me to help her with a video project, and it didn't matter what it was for, I wanted to help. This is a very edited version of her life, career goals..etc. The intro and outro songs are from Jordin Sparks - One Step at a Time..which ties very well in the end on how she wants to create and dream..one step at a time.

Background between Jenny and I.

We had taken a professional development class together (mock interviews, and resume writing, and lots and LOTS of homework). There weren't a lot of students that showed up in our class but there were at least 4-5 in a class of 8-10. Anyway when she mentioned her baby girl and how she was pregnant and gave birth during that quarter we had class, being the technologically savy person that I was (not really)..I wanted her to participate in class discussions and what not..I wanted to try something new and exciting. So what did we end up doing? We Skype'ed it up! Skype is a form of video streaming live..online using webcams and the internet. Now since our school had all that security and firewalls I wasn't sure if it would work. For some reason my webcam on my laptop didn't work so just for her (she doesn't know it, unless she read this) I bought one specifically for the specifications of my laptop.. anyway long story short she was able to be "in class" via webcam. The teacher was suprised that we did something such as that, but hey I was interested to know if it would work, and I'm always ready to help out a friend.

REWIND..

I first knew of and met up with Jenny when we were acquaintances at first the fall quarter where I was heading up a 7-camera shoot for our school's first annual fashion show. I ended up helping produce the video aspect of the fashion show and she was my contact...with the fashion aspect of it. We worked very well together in the most professional manner possible. We both took the fashion show as our own and made it an incredible show.

Jenny is a great candidate for the show she is auditioning for. I have never met anyone as driven as her, and even though she mentions it you'll know the truth about her when you are around her. She won't give up, and I won't give up on her!
