I find most shorts self indulgent rubbish, this though is an excellent story, well told, well shot and well acted. Nice attention to detail on the costumes and weapons. If I were to be critical of anything, I think the grading is a bit heavy on some scenes but over all a superb job.

Very surprise ending, yet sooo good. What kind of text did you use for the film? I'm having trouble finding a text for the movie I'm making now.

What was this shot on and what about the lenses? Thanks so much.
  • schwartz23 plus 9 months ago
We shot this in 2008 before the DSLR revolution - it was shot on the HVX200 with the Letus 35. We used a ton of lenses, mostly zeis primes - 28, 35, 50, and 100

    ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!

Great job, this is great work.

Love how it was shot and coloring is spot on.

Story is great, sad, but great.

    Love the end titles.

    I spy a continuity error! :D
At 6:09, when "Ish" gets up, he's all the way to our right, but in the close ups preceding, he was all the way to the left. Once again, great short though. What was the overall budget?
