The French Press/Press Pot/Plunger Pot/Cafetiere is by far the best coffee brewer you can buy when it comes to the ratio of price and coffee quality.

The press works well with just about any style of coffee. The one problem we always had was the sludge. Thanks to a technique passed around online from the wise Scandinavians, you can now make a better press at home!

    i disagree ... moka pots offer a better price to quality ratio IMO.. i got a killer 'shot' this morning, with an impressive amount of 'moka crema', as i like to call it. impression for a faux espresso, anyway.

    but that's just, like i said, IMO ! .. :)
