A prototype application I built in Processing. It takes a live video stream from a webcam and picks out the dominant colours from whatever is placed in front of the camera. A Flickr photo is then found based on the colours of the object.

Johann Frot 11 months agoThis is really great ! I had already discovered Idee's labs (and even blogged about them optima-lab.net/post/2008/11/05/Recherche-visuelle-et-analyse-dimages.aspx), but was wondering how to build on them. Good job. -

11 months ago Thanks Johann. I am lucky enough to know people from Idee, which is how I got this demo working. Not sure if there are plans for a public API, but that would be very cool. -
