Mick Preston performed the role of CORD in the feature FROM PARTS UNKNOWN. Mick has a long list of credits in both film and television, but the most impressive to the FPU crew (being nerdlike) is GODZILLA : FINAL WARS. Mick so impressed the producers in his first audition (by scaring them all to hell) that he was instantly chosen to play the driven ex-military rogue CORD in FROM PARTS UNKNOWN.

Trevor Wight plays the role of BRAIN in FROM PARTS UNKNOWN, although initially he auditioned for CORD (a role in which he was distinctly un-scary). He found a home in the scatty, amoral mad professor BRAIN, and made the role of expositional specialist one of the highlight character parts in FROM PARTS UNKNOWN.
