The 2011 spring snow geese migration actually topped the big time 2009 migration of 1.2 million with 1.3 million this time(their counts, not mine). Maybe the coolest part on the video is on the high sky shots of them coming down is to watch for the ones that will flip over and dive. They are all coming back in from morning breakfast and will fill the sky above the pile for more than an hour like that, as they circle down. Just kinda cool to see some of them flopping side to side and dropping further down rapidly.
