hey! I'm uploading an animation I developed for my final year project, for the bachelors degree in Music, Media and Performance Technology. It is based on the lives of people with disabilities, and I really hope to gain awareness. So please watch it!
The techniques used were inspired by Psycho-realism, Celtic symbology and the effect saturation has on the mood of a scene. Those of you who saw Chris Landreth's animations would be aware that psycho-realism involves portraying the human psyche in the visual realm. I developed on this idea by suggesting that society's thought's are 'disabling' them. It is a prevailing metaphor throughout the animation. I used real soundbites to illustrate the realism of this issue. This is how they really feel.
All of the models, animated characters and background imagery were developed by myself through Blender and After Effects.
