Though I must admit, I'm not a huge fan of the tag line. While private clips are a great feature, I think the real core to vimeo is the sharing and the community that revolves around that sharing. Vimeo is like a friendly neighborhood... It has far more brotherly/sisterly love than the others.

I agree, the tagline should be something else that highlights the community aspect, but "A place for friends" is the tagline for Myspace. ... I'm embarrassed to know that off the top of my head.

That said, I agree 100% with mikedidonato. Private videos is not unique for Vimeo. Youtube has the same (or similar) feature. Vimeo's uniqueness stands on the social power.
