1. Infraorbitalis -Audioreactive artifact-
1 year ago
This is the first of my audioreactive artifacts experiments.

The object is made in Modo 302.
The composition is made in vvvv (www.vvvv.org)
Audio and midi sequence in ableton live, (camera bangs, object rolls, object spreads, fill, etc).
Render with fraps at 25 fps.

A little bit of motion blur is added.

The original runs at 120 fps, and is completly audio reactive.

Music track: Rumor vitreo -extract-, 2008 (unreleased)
Artist: Tupperwear

jesus, 120 fps and it's rendering that all in real time? Either your computer is screaming or you're the most efficient coder ever!

    Hey, thanks guys!
I´m running a windows in a MBP 15" 2,33 ghz, but the object is very clean an simple (this is the 3.0 version ;D )
There are peaks that only run at 110 fps.

    really, thanks

This is quite polished, thanks! Enough diversity to look organic to my eyes.

    wow! impressive!

but i don't get the midi sequence thing..
do you write every parameter movement manualy in midi?!
i mean, as far as i know, in the case of a personal music composition it's ok, midi sequences create sound so they can be used to sync visuals accurately on it.

but there, you have an audio track. no midi file..
do you entirely create the midi part from nothing?! you may have an fft to help, right?

anyway, it just match perfectly and really smoothly to the music, congratulations!

    Hey Aze.
I´ve played with midi and audio via fft.
the most of the midi parameters are moved/recorded manualy, others was precisely created in the timeline.
the combination of few technics is more effective than this technics alone.

thanks a lot and sorry for my english ;)
