The online training offered by IRT for speakers/activists concerned about GMO pollution of the food supply is excellent. I took it this summer and it was fascinating, empowering, and entertaining.

I'm spreading the news where I live in Nova Scotia, my question is why even fight for labeling? I understand that it's important to know, but if we defend the rights of organic labeling and educating people properly then we wouldn't have to expend so much energy fighting to get something labeled that has no business in the food chain to begin with...in my eyes fighting for GMO labeling is sort of like settling with biotech and implicit in the message is..."ok, make your Frankenfood...just label it..." when we should be simply not accepting it at all in any capacity.
