In February 2011, the five times world champions Fred Fugen and Vince Reffett from Soul Flyers were invited to Melbourne to provide advanced 3D coaching to some of Australia's leading Skydive athlete talent.

The goal of the Training camp and the production were:
1. To increase participation in our sport.
2. Provide greater pathways for our elite athletes.

Hopefully this video will give all that view it a different perspective of what skydiving can offer. Hopefully it will provoke some necessity to learn to fly in our wonderful three-dimensional environment- The Sky!

Yes all footage was shot on a gopro and slowed down with twixtor. We cant wait to see what people can do with this duo in the near future..

The shooting was done by some of the top Australian skydivers at the Melbourne Skydive Centre 3D Human flight Training Camp held in Melbourne. Chas from Betty Wants In did the Editing... He is a skydiver/ cinematographer also who is integral in helping introduce more people to our sport.

The video is aimed at showing where people can go if they start skydiving....The sport brings so many rewards to those who participate....

its amazing what you can do when you have the training and knowledge!!!

@kush I respectfully disagree. :) The use of real time to slow mo is not a "new" concept, but its use in this arena is something I've never seen before. The result is mesmerizing. Kudos to the filmmakers. While I'm still to chicken s**t to skydive, this film inspired me to get back to making films. :)
