    you start the video with a shot with a lot of wind, while wind is one of the most important builders of avalanches !
    if one guy skis down it doesn't mean it's safe !

    Actually, there was very little wind that day or at any time during the storm that brought the snow that slid. The wind in the video is from the helicopter that was just taking off then.

    As you point out (and was pointed out at the end of the video under: "Old News") just because a line has been skied already, it doesn't mean it won't slide.

    A great video and time line of this (almost) tragic avalanche. I don't do back country, but if I did, I would want both of those products along with poles/shovels/beacons. very glad everyone is safe
