For this project we had three weeks to work on our first major animation. After seeing musician/visual artist Tycho’s spectacular visuals during his live performance, I decided to create an animation for one of his songs based on his artwork for his album “Past Is Prologue”. The main idea was to create an animation that went in hand with the themes that he evokes (at least in for me) in his music such as childhood, lost summers, hazy moments, warmth and obscure/damaged/super 8 films. I decided to keep it simple so I worked with images found in the internet and videos from archive.org repository.
