This short film called “While Sleeping” is inspired by a song of the same name from my band Balún. What I tried to portray was this story of a girl that is sleeping and is awakened by all sorts of crazy things happening around. Clothes, musical notes, and stuffed animals appear to disrupt her from her sleep and makes her interact with these objects in a way similar to Svankmajer’s “Alice”.
