I wanted to work with the different expressions of time using dialogue balloons and how can I make their content (i.e. text) explode or come out from the balloon itself as to represent movement of time or temporal states. My main influence for this work is the way that Japanese comics (manga) work with time, as stated in the Scott McCloud reading. This project was done in the course Interactive Screens and Cinematic Objects at ITP-NYU.
