1. Mother and Son Save Toddler Daughter from Drowning
1 year ago
Last Friday, June 22, 2007 at approximately 5:30pm, Sarah Lorentson only 21 months old, found a way into the backyard swimming pool. Had it not been for her older brother, Jacob Lorentson, 14, who found her minutes later, Sarah may have drowned.
“I thought she was gone,” said Jacob. As soon as he saw her floating in the pool, he said he jumped in without a second thought. Stacey Lorentson jumped in only moments after to help Jacob take their toddler out of the water. While Jacob called for the help of their next door neighbor who was gardening, Stacey began CPR. By 5:39, Jacob had called 911 and was helping his mother bring his baby sister back.
