The AC Reynolds Rockets defeated the North Davidson Black Knights 21-0 in the first round of the 2008 playoffs. The game was a defensive contest with no score until 6:28 left in the first half. The Rockets had a 4th down and 1 test at the Knights 45 yard line, but Rudy Cabral (#44) decided the first down was not enough. The next two highlights in this video illustrate the many defensive plays by both teams. In the first, John Thomas (#40), and in the second, Tony Cabral (#19) stop the Knights’ quarterback.

The last clips are Kyren Gibson (#3) scoring twice with 17 and 21 yard runs in the third quarter. The second run shows excellent blocking at the line and downfield as well as Gibson’s great moves. The point after the first Gibson touchdown was a 2-point pass from Rudy Cabral (#44) to Mark Montini (#87).
