Spivet, a 12-year-old genius mapmaker who lives on a ranch in Montana. Turchi serves a Director of Creative Writing at ASU and Director of the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing. He is the author of several books including "Maps of the Imagination: The Writer as Cartographer." Klett is a Regents Professor in ASU’s School of Art and his photographic work has focused on explorations of man’s interaction with the American landscape, and more recently on issues of photography in time including rephotography.
