TRADOC and Army leaders discuss the roles of Combined Arms Maneuver and Wide Area Security (CAM and WAS) will play in training Soldiers and its doctrinal impact. The Unified Quest CAM and WAS wargame allowed leaders to define CAM and WAS and study possible gaps in doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership, personnel and facilities in light of uncertainties in the emerging trend of hybrid threats. The event also examined how the Army can balance CAM and WAS responsibilities in various situations and its implications on Corps and Division-level units and the Army Capstone Concept (released in 2009), the Army Operating Concept (released in 2010) and FM 3-0 Operations (updated this spring). Representatives from Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental and Multinational groups also participated. To view a closed-caption version of this video, please go here: youtube.com/watch?v=U97TaJtCttY
