360frames times infinity is a photo booth installation built on top of the 3frames website. 8 webcams surround an enclosure in 360 degrees, generating bullet time-style animated gifs that are uploaded to 3frames. An accompanying projected visualization displays more than 1000 of the most recent uploads to 3frames as an infinitely scrolling starfield, updating in realtime to reveal the latest uploads as they happen.

    yea... Golan clued me into trampolina. Their spins look sooooo good! I'd love to do this on a nice budget where I could afford DSLR's and 6x the cameras :)

    Wow - this is great! I'd love to hear how you set-up all the PS-Eyes. I've been thinking of buying lots, as they're down to about £5 now.

    Thanks Lawrie. The PS Eyes are all plugged into one Mac Pro. My experience was that the USB bus gets saturated once you've got 3 of them running at 320x240. To get them all running at once, I stuck in 3 PCIe USB cards and spread the cameras across those.
