    forgive my ignorance of skiing and avalanches but it looks like they are deliberately trying to make the snow shift at the very top before skiing down to the cliff. if that's the case isn't deliberately starting an avalanche the stupidest thing you can do?

    They aren't trying to on purpose. Just the snow type that sluffs off as he's trying to get down the chute

    May be, but instead of celebrating, I would have switched my beacon to "search/receive" and then, if no one was trapped in the result of my idiocy, and only then, I'd utter out a hell of adrenalin rush.

    If the two guys did know that an avalanche could happen the video is not amazing and the guys were not heroes but the most stupid and dangerous guys and the video should be deleted. How much damage did their work? What were these guys thinking? I am pretty shore they did not think anything. The video looks amazing from the technical point of view but from the environment point its stupid and gopro should delete it. I am a surfer and one of the rules is respect the others. And these two guys do not have respect.
