you are going to start a D90 video revolution, your two Nikon vids are mind blowingly great. Right now I want to go buy a D90 so bad. I actually just joined vimeo to let you know this. You ARE a creative, videographic genius.

What do you use to stabilize the D90?

    Thank you very much!

This is all handheld until the last shot, where I used a dolly. I'm using a wide angle lens, so that helps.

nice video, but I found a small bug ;) At first scenes a actor has a backpack, next the backpack disappears, and after again the backpack is.. ;)

Consider this... (sorry for the essay but i need to voice this!) all those technology over creativity 'pro' video blokes keep banging on about is 'jello' and 'stair stepping' and other certainly valid but missing the bigger picture issues like that.... the list goes on.... and my point is to tell them stop all that (please!) and just look at the damn footage with artistic eyes and realise how many hours people like me have spent trying to create a kind of D90 film style look using magic bullet/after effects etc.. using pro +£2000 DV/HD cams, and with the D90 is now retailing at £700 with a decent enough lens!! all I can say is less talk and more focus on the POSSIBILITY'S and play to the D90's strengths, be happy with what you CAN do, and spend all that time you now save from less dull post pro to shoot something amazing like this fine film and December Air, also on vimeo. Please keep on inspiring people like me :)

nice work! i like how the guy takes all the time to create & print a flyer for his missing baby and still has wet blood on his hands when he smacks the flyer up on the utility pole... great humor
  • xxfishxx 6 months ago
The guy with the blood on his hands did not make the flyer.

He just slaps the flyer as he is walking by.

The guy with the blood on his hands was a thief trying to meet a quota of 10 bikes in one day.

One got away but 9 out of 10 aint bad.

    Great film!

    Hey! Firstly, great film!

I JUST bought my D90.. Got an 18 - 200 VR Nikkor lens. I will use that for photography, but from various reviews I understand that it won't be best for film.

What Lens did you use here? I'm after a lens that would be good for filming on the D90.

    Thanks mate!
